Yo! Spirit!

Early in the dawn
Lying in the lawn
Cold air touched the ear
Popped up a voice with fear
Woke me up from a dream
Which i saw up on the screen;
Reaching the summit of success
Initiates gradually scattering hands
to live, the means were scant
After harsh labor, depiction of success
had started to appear
Bewildered mind couldn't stop weening
Could I achieve it so conveniently?
OH NO! I should pass from miserable and intolerable paths
I may get hurt in every stairs of life
But I should have great spirit and a bit of ego too
And I'm not going to care you people anymore, okay?
I'm sure I'll be diamond for the people;
who supported me since childhood
I couldn't forget the insulted peaks of words okay?
Will obviously show you one day;
the eternal power of spirit, ego and willingness
And finally, Don't you worry guys
I'll be back soon with bucket of flowers.
Thank you !

Rakshi The Way of Life

"1. If a person laughs too much,
even at stupid things, he is
lonely deep inside..
.

sad.

speaks fast, he keeps secrets..

4. If someone can't cry, he is
weak..

7. If someone becomes angry
over silly or petty (small) things,
it means he needs love...

Development Planning

A plan is a set of things or activities to operate in a systematic order to achieve definite targets or objectives. It is an act that every individual or household or institution can prepare with define goal. Similarly, the act or process of making plans to meet definite goals or objectives is planning. In the similar way, economic planning is the act or process of making plans related to economic activities to meet certain objectives of a person or a household or an institution or a country.
Development planning is closely related to economic activities of a nation. Therefore, it is also known as economic planning of a nation. The concept of development planning was first introduced in 1917 A.D. in the former Soviet Union. It is defined as deliberate government attempt to implement, monitor, supervise as well as coordinate economic decisions made on economic issues of the nation. In the other words, it is defined as the conscious and deliberate choice of economic priorities by some public authorities.  The basic objective of development planning is to achieve sustainable economic development in primary, secondary and tertiary sectors of the nation.

Road Signs and Marking

Road Signs and marking are a ubiquitous(appearing) feature of towns and cities around the world. The purpose of this system is to ensure the safety of both drivers and pedestrians(traveller) by separating them and by controlling traffic speed and flow. Drivers are obligated to resrict their speed, follow directions, and park and stop only in designated areas. Pedestrians are further protected by raised sidewalks from which motor traffic is restricted. At the road intersections motor vehicle movement is strictly managed by traffic lights and road markings. The requirement of road users to obey road markings, signs, and signals is backed up by legal sanctions leveled against those who ignored the traffic rules.

Mathematics and Children's Misconceptions

Analyses of children's misconceptions in mathematics indicate that children have considerable difficulties in dealing with fractions. Given the choice of 50 percent and 25 percent, and asked to choose which number is higher, childeren will correctly choose 50 percent. However, given the choice of 1/2 and 1/4, they will incorrectly choose 1/4. Their reasoning is that since 4 is gretaer than 2. 1/4 is larger than 1/2. Considering this misconception, it is highly likely that the correct answers they give to percentage questions aren't based on understanding the concept of percentages. Holding onto the misconception that 1/4 is a larger number than 1/2, the child often miscalculates the simple addition problem of 1/2 plus 1/2, coming up with the answer of 1/4 instead of 2/2 or 1.

'Du' Introductory

The word 'Du' for you all is like an incomplete or meaningless word but for the people of Koirala family living in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, it is very precious word which reflects the name of the smallest son 'Animesh Koirala'. Literally, the word 'Du' is derived from a girl classmate of that very son. She is the only one whose name was taken by Animesh when his sisters Ashma and Anisha Koirala jokingly inquired him about his girlfriend. Haha! When he was in class-3, the story began. I and my elder sister Anisha always tried to tease our brother but he never accepted that, i.e always neglected the name of that girl named 'Devika Khattri' onward. When we try to tease him, he always consult with our momma. OMG ! Those days were so especial, I just cant imagine. We used different names such as: Du, Dhista, Devi, Di, etc. for reflecting only a single girl Devika. But, today, after few years, suddenly one name changed into 7 names. O my gosh! The names are in this way:

  1. Devika Khatri
  2. Binju Rimal
  3. Ranjita Yadav
  4. Shristi Chaudhary
  5. Sabita karki
  6. Sita Lama
  7. Sita Shrestha
Above mentioned names are the list of girls whose names are used for teasing our brother. Today when my brother is in class-7. And our culture of teasing is running smoothly, in fact it has been updated. So its so entertaining and funny ! !
